Suresh is the founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Green Earth LLC, (www.greenearthaction.com), recently listed among the 2011 INC500 fastest growing private firms in the US. The company exploits opportunities at the intersection of Strategy, Technology, and Sustainability. Suresh is also reviewing challenging opportunities in the field of academics, leadership training, executive coaching, and entrepreneurship development where he can work closely with prospective as well as established entrepreneurs and students while continuing to learn and develop his knowledge base through research. Suresh is a member of the US Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), the International Council of Small Business (ICSB). In September 2009, Suresh attended the Experiential Classroom organized by the Department of Entrepreneurship, Oklahoma State University, where his team won the Outstanding Case Teaching Award.
Suresh is a passionate student of the theory and practice of leadership and entrepreneurship. In March 2011, he completed his Doctor of Management degree in organizational leadership. His doctoral dissertation titled “The linkages between cognition, behavior, culture and opportunity among high growth Asian American immigrant entrepreneurs” has been selected for presentation at various academic and practitioner conferences in 2011 including the ICSB, USASBE, and ECMLG conferences. Suresh is working on plans to leverage the learning from his doctoral research and his rich practical experiences to influence teaching, coaching, education and outreach in the areas of leadership and entrepreneurship. In particular, he is interested in designing experiential learning programs to help prospective/nascent entrepreneurs as they seek to identify opportunities, establish and grow their businesses in the midst of a dynamic global economy.
Suresh serves on the board of the South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT), New Jersey, the Citizens of Old Bridge, NJ; and is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneur (TIE), and the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. Suresh was nominated to the Indian American Task Force (IATF) on terrorism to lobby with the US Congress and help formulate a long term response to the terrorist attacks on Mumbai, India in November 2008. His interests include lifelong learning, environmental activism, congressional lobby work, community development, social work, tennis, volleyball, hiking, history, politics, cultural events, nature and writing. He is married to Neerja and they live in Old Bridge, NJ.
