Why an ICSB blog?

The world is rapidly changing and ICSB members that represent our four pillars (education, research, policy makers and practitioners) are keen in learning more about the state-of-the-art of entrepreneurship from around the world. ICSB is represented in over 70 countries and collectively we bring the largest and most diverse knowledge to the forefront.

The focus of the ICSB Exchange is to provide a valuable outlet for our members to address popular topics and emerging trends in today’s ever-changing global economy. We will encourage contributions from members around the world to the blog so that we can strengthen the discussion thread. Monthly guest contributors will write new blog posts each month to present new topics and address existing discussions. Sharing business knowledge on a global foundation helps both developing and developed countries improve their economic environment and helps foster an understanding and appreciation for each country’s contribution to the world marketplace.

So how should readers take the content of the blog versus that of our ICSB news or our academic journal (JSBM)? This is a place for individual writers to offer brief thoughts, fleeting ideas, scratchings on the back of an envelope and the like, and showcases some of the diversity of thought we have as members of ICSB.

As Executive Director I am keeping warm the editor’s seat until we find a long term editor for our new ICSB Exchange Blog.
